Reporting to the Content Director of PodcastOne and working closely with the Social Media and Planning Team, the Digital/Social Content Lead will be responsible for growing reach and engagement for PodcastOne across SCA social and digital assets. You will work to build strategies around new and existing podcasts on the PodcastOne platform and create rich and engaging content across social channels, building syndication and awareness of the PodcastOne brand.
As the Digital/Social Content lead, you will have a strong passion for the podcasting space globally. Your rich knowledge of social media platforms (specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat) and strong understanding of how to build a community on social media will be key to the success of this role. You will bring your experience and creativity when managing PodcastOne's social accounts in order for them to be able to grow, engage and build an audience. You will also be responsible for generating content for a longer term strategy.
As the successful candidate, you will also have:
- 3-4 years proven experience across social media, digital and/or broadcast industries
- The ability to think strategically and creatively to plan and execute engaging content
- Strong understanding of marketing key moments on social and digital
- A strong understanding of social video including the ability to produce, edit and publish video content across social platforms
- Experience in operating camera, video and audio equipment
- Worked closely with talent in the entertainment, sports or news space
- Proven experience in working with different areas of the business (such as content, commercial, marketing, promotions and tactics)
- Bachelor equivalent (or several years’ industry experience)
