Brisbane - Contract


Southern Cross Austereo – one of Australia’s most progressive and exciting entertainment based media companies – is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Graphic Designer - Pitch to join its Brisbane Team on a 6 month parental leave cover role.

You will be responsible for the creation of design materials for proactive and reactive pitches as well as developing innovative and creative presentation solutions.

Producing work of the highest standard in terms of functionality and design, you’ll collaborate with various teams across our national network to ensure the digital strategies of Southern Cross Austereo are fully realised.

Make no mistake – we’re looking for the best! As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • 2 years + experience - Graphic Design graduate or Desktop Publishing background
  • Tertiary qualifications in subjects related to design or advertising preferred
  • Ability to work in both PC and Mac environments
  • Strong skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Powerpoint and Keynote
  • Understanding of persuasive and credible presentation skills
  • Experience creating infographics and design elements (vector, icons, etc.) to be used in powerpoint
  • Ability to create mocks to support pitch concepts (e.g. microsite and ad builds to suit a client’s look and feel)
  • Ability to prioritise work and perform within a fast paced and dynamic environment
