Southern Cross Austereo, one of Australia’s most progressive and exciting entertainment based media companies, is looking for someone who has a passion for the media industry to join our National Television Headquarters in Canberra.
As a member of the Television Programming team, you will be responsible for the coordination of program television schedules including the distribution of program guides, creating schedules in the broadcast system and communicating program and on-air promotions information. You will also be required to coordinate program tapes and work closely with the schedulers and on-air teams.
Make no mistake, we are looking for the best! As the successful candidate you will have:
- Solid administration and computer skills (including all Microsoft Office applications)
- High levels of motivation and attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks at one time
- Great interpersonal skills – you’re able to develop and foster productive long-term working relationships
- An ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- You will ideally have some experience working within a Media organization or relevant tertiary studies, however this is not essential
