As the new Breakfast 2DayFM Content Producer - Reporting to the Content Director, the Content Producer will work with the Executive Producer and wider producing team to create an entertaining, compelling and balanced show that has a broad range of content, guests and stunts that appeal to the target and wider cume.

The Content Producer is also responsible is responsible for segment producing, briefing of guests, chasing leads and the execution of them while ensuring they meet the relevant risk assessment guidelines and on-air codes before going live.

Make no mistake, we are after the best! As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Consolidated experience in producing a competitive Radio show in a capital city market.
  • Forward planning of content both short and long term.
  • Segment producing of content, entertainment and local stories.
  • Pro-actively source and brief interview guests
  • Preparation of detailed info sheets for segments
  • Maintain up to date contact book
  • Plan, oversee and execute show events and stunts
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, guiding and motivating successful teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse array of internal stakeholders.
  • An understanding and ability to work in accordance with the Radio Broadcasting Codes of Decency.
