Music Director - Hit Network
Brisbane - Full time
Based in Brisbane, the successful candidate will report to and work collaboratively with the Head of Music in determining the Music Strategy and will be required to curate exceptional music logs in accordance with the strategy. As the Music Director, or Assistant Music Director, you MUST live and breathe music 24/7 and have a willingness to work in a team environment and across multiple formats and platforms that could include AM, FM, & DAB.
Make no mistake – We are after the best! This role demands a seasoned professional who has demonstrated expertise and tenure within the broadcasting industry, as well as a passion for pop culture!
As the newest member of the Hit Music Hub, you will have:
- Demonstrated expertise in music scheduling, with experience using G-Selector highly desirable
- An understanding of new technologies and consumption trends
- An understanding of legal compliance issues and risk assessment specific to the CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to adapt and stay on your toes within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- A team-focussed mindset, the ability to lead by example and a willingness to share your knowledge
