SCA is on the hunt for a confident and motivated Journalist who wants to further develop their career and is excited about providing our listeners with the most relevant, up to date news within a culture of high performance. If you are the successful candidate, you will deliver on-brand news updates for platforms including FM, DAB+ and Smart Speakers.

What we are looking for in you:

  • A metro-ready news reading style an ability to produce accurate, punchy and creative news bulletins
  • Commercial radio experience, knowledge of NewsBoss and OmnyStudio highly desirable
  • A love of working in both a solo and team environment
  • A curious nature, with a thirst for the latest in news, sports and entertainment
  • Confident, conversational reading style which suits SCA’s radio brands
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise projects of differing timelines
  • Thorough knowledge of news operations and systems
  • An active interest and experience in digital news
  • Basic knowledge of ACMA regulations and broadcasting operations
