Newcastle’s Hit106.9 is seeking a motivated, passionate and driven Executive Producer to join our breakfast team.
The successful applicant will report to the Group Content Director NSW & ACT and will need to have the passion to create truly compelling, creative content that gets talked about. You must be relentless in your pursuit of the best on air content and importantly, you are capable of using your industry knowledge and contacts to transform your amazing ideas into the real thing.
Ideally you must have previous experience in producing shows and talent in a live environment and some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Creation of content and segments
- Booking guests
- Editing interviews
- Filming and editing digital content
- Writing show imaging
- Segment research
You should have:
- Exceptional time management.
- High level of attention to detail.
- A passion to create compelling content for our target audience.
- A love of music.
- Connection with issues that are important to our community and connect with the target.
- The desire to immerse yourself in our fantastic community.
- An understanding of the importance of working with clients and stakeholders.
- Be able to function in a fast paced and keep calm under pressure in a live show environment.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of CRA’s Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
