SCA is on the hunt for a seasoned Executive Producer to join SCA’s ‘The Briefing’ daily news podcast with Tom Tilley, with co-hosts Annika Smethurst, Jan Fran & Jamila Rizvi. This is a career defining opportunity to work with some of the nation’s most talented and respected journalists.

At SCA, we are constantly working to create bespoke content for our audiences and we are proud to be able to collaborate with some of Australia’s best journalists to deliver one of the most credible news on demand products in the market. As the Executive Producer for The Briefing, it will be your job to ensure the production of a daily podcast which provides succinct, accurate and compelling news content.

This role is suited to an experienced Executive Producer with digital audio production skills who knows how to get the very best out of an exceptionally talented team. If you are an early riser that is passionate about delivering truly engaging News content and who can hold your own amongst a team of ambitious Journalists, then we want to hear from you.

It will be your responsibility to identify compelling and targeted stories, as well as suitable guests, to deliver a successful news podcast each morning.

You will possess an excellent reputation as a highly credible Executive Producer with strong credentials producing high quality, timely news content, in alignment with the CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.

The successful candidate will possess proven and extensive experience in working with high profile talent, topical content, preferably for audio platforms and will be an expert in their ability to adopt a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information.
