As our newest Announcer/Operations Assistant based at Hit 106.9 Newcastle you will be working closely with the content director in creating engaging and dynamic radio. You will be responsible for ensuring the station's strategic objectives are achieved through excellent local communication, effective tactical planning and execution that makes you stand out. In addition, you will play a key supporting role off-air through the provision of operational administration.
As the newest member of the Hit 106.9 Newcastle team, you will possess:
- The ability to deliver outstanding on-air shifts at a commercial level.
- A genuine passion for Hit music that will resonate with the network audience.
- Have the ability to translate pop culture, localism or topically into a fast-paced hit music shift.
- Operational skills and awareness backed with relevant experience.
- Competent with GSelector & Zetta playout systems.
- Some digital and social media experience.
- Outstanding communication and organisation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a drive to go above and beyond in your role.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
