The role on offer:

Based in Tasmania SCA produces local content for Network TEN markets in four states, the role will see the successful applicants work on their own markets to develop and hone skills learnt while studying for your degree. This role also offers a unique opportunity to present your work on camera giving broad experience in news reading and presenting. This is a unique opportunity to kick start your career.

The skills and experience you will need: 

  • Degree in journalism
  • Love to work in both a solo and team environment
  • Have excellent knowledge of news and sport
  • Can work comfortably with news operations and systems
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
