The role on offer:

Starting ASAP and based in our Perth newsroom, you’ll deliver on-brand, local compliance news bulletins for SCA’s Hit and Triple M stations across regional WA. You’ll help identify and create compelling news for our unique and varied target audience. Importantly, you will have a high level of competence and passion for a top quality news product. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to work across LiSTNR; SCA’s exciting Audio-On-Demand app. If you want to work with a high-performing and passionate news team where you can be your best self, then this is the role for you!

The skills and experience you will need:

  • Can produce accurate, punchy and creative bulletins within tight deadlines
  • A confident, conversational reading style which suits our brands
  • Love to work in both a solo and team environment
  • Excellent knowledge of news and sport
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understand social media and how it relates to newsgathering and story creation
  • Commitment to work different shifts
  • Experience with NewsBoss is preferable
  • A passion for delivering great results will be key to your success.
